The negative effects of goods flows realisation are most visible in urban areas as the places greatest concentration economic and social activities. main goals this article were to identify applicable Industry 4.0 technologies for performing various city logistics (CL) operations, establish smart sustainable CL solutions (SSCL) rank them order those which will serve base points future plans strategies development cities. This kind problem requires involvement multiple stakeholders with their opposing interests, thus criteria. For solving it, proposed a novel hybrid multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) model, based on BWM (Best-Worst Method) CODAS (COmbinative Distance-based ASsessment) methods grey environment. results model application imply that potentially best SSCL solution is combination concepts micro-consolidation centres autonomous vehicles support artificial intelligence Internet Things technologies. contributions definition original SSCLs, creation framework criteria evaluation MCDM model.
